Location: Muskel Hill, North London

Scope of works: Side Extension, Partial Refurbishment and Rear garden landscape

This is a semi-detached Victorian house, in which the principal aim was to convert the ground floor into an area full of light, connected to the garden. To achieve that, large picture windows were inserted into the rear façade, and a large skylight was made, extending over the whole of the dining-room.

In order to connect the patio to the dining-room, exposed brick was used in the interior, which receives light directly from the skylight, so that we find ourselves in an interior area, but with light and materials which give us the feeling of being outside.
