Scope of works: 27 New Build Houses 

The scale of the development responds to the characteristics of the site and its context,  It comprises 27 new build Houses split in to 9 different typologies.

There are some local traditional design clues in terms of plan form and materials in existing properties around the site. Natural Stone and Natural Slate plus natural stone sill and head detailing will have to be similar to the historic architectural language

It is important that the new development has a strong connection with local character and place making. One of the most obvious ways of achieving this will be by using a commonality of building materials, many roofs are covered in a natural slate and Natural stone Walls therefore It is proposed that a identical material pallet will be used for the whole of the development

We have done a great effort to achieve a balanced  appearance for the houses externally, beyond matching materials, form and scale with the constructions found In the Heaton Estates conservation area and surroundings. 

We believe the proposed development enhances the character and appearance of this Conservation Area.
